58. Péter FEKETE (NIGRINI)²⁶⁹ was born about 1717 in Csikvánd, Györ m, HUN. He died on 22 July 1763 at the age of 46 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁰ He died of tuberculosis ("szározbetegség"). Following the short standard death notice in Hungarian in the church register, the following note was written in Latin by the Pastor: "With utmost contempt for divine worship, for nine years he did not partake of the sacred supper of the Lord, but used dreadful words while indulging in drunkenness and anger. One year before his death, as if struck by lightning, he became like a lamb repudiating evil(?), and the mysteries of the Lord's Supper were useful as before."

In his first daughter's birth record, he is identified as a "Borbély Mester ember" -- the owner of a barbering business and the son of "Nigrini" -- the evangelical pastor in Csikvánd. He was also known as Peter Nigrini.

We believe that he was heavily involved in the Vadosfa Riot of 1751, and was among those participants imprisoned. Though we don't have the details, most of the prisoners were incarcerated for over a year ... well into 1753. Apparently, while in prison, his wife had an affair with one Sándor Horváth, a barber employed by her husband. In his 1757 death record, the Pastor wrote of Horváth (among other things) in Latin: "He lived an impure life with Rozina Németh, wife of Péter Fekete alias Nigrini." This may be the cause of Fekete's radical behavior for several years following his release. Rozina NÉMET and Péter FEKETE (NIGRINI) were married about 1740.

59. Rozina NÉMET was born on 26 June 1724 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷¹ She died on 15 May 1800 at the age of 75 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷² The death register gives her age as 77, and she was identified as the widow of Péter Fekete.

Children were:

	i.	Rozina FEKETE was born on 8 June 1741 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷³ This baptismal entry identifies not only her parents, but her grandfather as the Evangelical pastor in Csikvánd. She died on 22 November 1774 at the age of 33 in Edve, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁴ She was identified as the wife of Ns. Pál Edve.
	ii.	Éva FEKETE was born on 16 February 1743 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁵ She died on 16 February 1797 at the age of 54 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁶ She died at age 56 and was identified as the widow of Mihály Boros of Edve.
	iii.	József FEKETE was born on 7 October 1744 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁷ He died before 1747 at the age of 3.
	iv.	Julianna FEKETE was born on 1 November 1746 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁸
	v.	József FEKETE was born on 1 December 1747 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁹ He died on 31 January 1796 at the age of 48 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸⁰ Age at death is given as 47 years. Identified in third son's death record as an "agilis" -- not in bond.
	vi.	Imre FEKETE was born between 1749 and 1753 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN. He died on 21 March 1756 at the age of 7 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸¹ His age at death is not given ... there are numerous holes in the Vadosfa baptismal records between 1748 and 1753. These probably account for the absence of a birth record.
	vii.	Katalin FEKETE was born on 10 March 1755 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸²

	ix.	Erzsébet FEKETE was born in 1761. She died on 18 August 1787 at the age of 26 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸³ She died at age 25.
	x.	Ádam FEKETE was born on 31 December 1762 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸⁴ Godparents included István Gánts and his wife Éva Varjas. He died on 8 January 1763 at the age of 0 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸⁵
	xi.	Mária FEKETE was born on 31 December 1762 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁸⁴ Godparents included Mihály Nagy and his wife Anna Szalay. She died on 15 January 1764 at the age of 1 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.²⁷⁰
