28. Mihály PÁLFI was born on 9 May 1756 in Beled, Sopron m, HUN.¹⁷⁹ He died on 28 May 1832 at the age of 76 in Beled, Sopron m, HUN.¹⁸⁰ His age at death is given as 77. In his son's marriage record of 1820, he is described as a "jobbágy ember" -- a peasant. But, at his death he was identified as a "polgár" -- a citizen of Beled. His son Mihály took the family to the next level in society. Judit FEKETE and Mihály PÁLFI were married on 5 February 1782 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.^181,182

29. Judit FEKETE was born on 25 May 1759 in Vadosfa, Sopron m, HUN.¹⁸³ Godparents were János László and his wife Susanna Kelemen, and István Gánts and his wife Éva Várjas. She died on 16 March 1812 at the age of 52 in Beled, Sopron m, HUN.¹⁸⁴ Her death record gives her age as 51. It reads "Die 16a Marii Beledbe Páfi Mihálynak hárojtársa Fekete Judith 51 esros meg halván enek Szóval temettetett el." [nb. "esdos" is the abbreviation for "esztendös" -- meaning years of age,] She was also known as Judit Nigrini.¹⁸⁴ Her death record gives her age as 51. It reads "Die 16a Marii Beledbe Páfi Mihálynak hárojtársa Fekete Judith 51 esros meg halván enek Szóval temettetett el." [nb. "esdos" is the abbreviation for "esztendös" -- meaning years of age,]
