128. Rabbi Aron Beer WEHLI was born about 1675 in Volyně, Bohemia. He died in 1741 at the age of 66 in Prague, Bohemia. From this point on, most of the family used the surname Wehli (with several spelling variations: Wehle, Wehli, Véhly, etc. and von Wehle) It is likely this stems from a corruption of their hometown Volynê, after a move to Prague and later to Vienna. Schöndl WEHLI and Rabbi Aron Beer WEHLI were married before 1720. They were probably second cousins. There were three sons and five daughters of this marriage.
