2. Santiago Antonio Ygnacio PUJALS1 was born on 5 June 1808 in Santa Marta, Magdelena, COL.2 He was baptized on June 6 by Don Pedro Gabriel Diaz Granados. Godparents were his maternal uncle, the priest. José Gregorio de la Bastida, and Sabina de la Bastida, a widow. He died on 26 April 1877 at the age of 68 in Santiago de Cuba, Oriente, Cuba.1 His death is recorded in the register of the parish Church of the Holy Trinity in Santiago de Cuba. Valentina PUENTE and Santiago Antonio Ygnacio PUJALS were married about 1836 in Santiago de Cuba, Oriente, Cuba. There were a total of twelve children of this marriage born between 1838 and 1861.
