58. Daniel CLANTON was born in December 1852 in Warren County, NC. He was a mulatto living in Weldon, NC who apparently impregnated sisters Jackie and Cora Harris at about the same time. He married Cora and Jackie soon married an older, recently widowed neighbor Gardner Ivey.

59. Jackie HARRIS was born in February 1850 in NC. She died on 13 June 1923 at the age of 73 in Halifax County, NC. She was identified as a midwife in her death certificate. She died of a stroke (apoplexy) caused by high blood pressure. Her surname is also given as Harrison.
