Third Generation4. Harm Hinrich LÜHRS was born on 21 January 1807 in Langwedel bei Daverden, Hannover, GER.4 He was baptized on Jan 23. He died on 27 November 1853 at the age of 46 in Walle bei Verden, Hannover, GER. In 1844, upon his marriage, he took over Walle #19 -- the local tavern called Zum Alte Krug -- which had been owned by his new wife's first husband and for generations by Schloo family ancestors. Margarethe Dorothea Sophia "Dora" GROBE and Harm Hinrich LÜHRS were married on 16 February 1844 in Verden an der Aller, Hannover, GER.5,6 The marriage record reads: "Lührs Hermann Hinrich, Köthner of Walle son of the late Hermann Hinrich Lührs, halbmeier of the same place (daselbst), and Sophia Dorothea Schloo born Grobe, widow of the late Hermann Hinrich Schloo of Walle, at home." Regarding the name of the bride, all four of the Grobe girls had several given names, including Margarethe ... their mother's name. The bride, in both her 1835 and 1844 marriage was identified as Sofia Dorothea. Her name was actually Margarethe Dorothea Sofia, and she normally went by Dora. 5. Margarethe Dorothea Sophia "Dora" GROBE was born on 1 March 1812 in Ubbendorf bei Wechold, Hannover, GER.7 She died on 15 October 1861 at the age of 49 in Walle bei Verden, Hannover, GER. She was known as "Sack Liechen" (bag lady) because after her first husband's death, surreptitiously at night, she brought Schloo family valuables to her sister Sophie in a bag. Children were:
