György DUTKA was born on 15 March 1814 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.39 This baptismal entry (as well as that of György Popovics) were entered out of order -- between the May and June entries -- in different handwriting, perhaps being corrections made by a new priest. János Popovics and his wife Maria were godparents. He died on 13 May 1870 at the age of 56 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.40 He died at age 56 and lived in Podproc #6 at the time of his death. Anna HOCZKICZKO and György DUTKA were married on 19 November 1832 in Szent Lörincz (Brutovce), Szepes m, HUN.41 The marriage record gave the bride's age as 20, the groom as 19. In this record, the bride's name appears as Kiczko. At the time of the 1869 census, this family lived in house #6 in Lazonpatak (Podproc). At that time, György and Anna had four living children. The daughters Anna and Ersébet were both marrried. The sons György and Mihály were unmarried, György in the army, Mihály at home helping on the farm. Also living with them was Katalin Szakmár, a 16 year-old servant who the next year married György's nephew, János Popovics. 9. Anna HOCZKICZKO was born on 7 August 1812 in Szent Lörincz (Brutovce), Szepes m, HUN.42 Her godfather was Pál Béress. She was a Roman Catholic. Her family name is spelled several ways, including Hoczkiczko and Kiczko -- these longer and shortened versions seemed to be used interchangably. I will use Hoczkiczko (an obviously Magyar spelling of a Rusyn name) because it was written quite legibly this way on her parent's 1807 marriage record. Children were:
