2. Miklos "Nick" DUTKA was born on 27 September 1890 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.² He was baptized on September 28. His godparents were György Grajczár and his wife Ersébet. He died in July 1969 at the age of 78 in Johnstown, PA. He arrived aboard the SS Slavonia from Fiume on 17 Oct 1908 from Lazonpatak, in Szepes county in northern Hungary. This village is also known in German as Latzenbach and in Slovak as Podproc. The manifest states that he had a sister named Zsófia at home in Hungary and a sister Ilona in Johnstown, PA where he was destined. Also that he was 5' 7" tall, had brown eyes and hair, and a dark complexion.

According to the 1930 US Census, he was 39 years old, had been married at age 20, came to the US from Czechoslovakia in 1908, and he lived in Brownstown, PA with his family, in a house they owned with a value of $4000. He was employed as a laborer in a steel mill. At the time, the oldest son Michael was also working at the mill.

Zsófia "Sophie" POPOVICS and Miklos "Nick" DUTKA were married on 10 August 1911 in Johnstown, PA. Their marriage license #4819 is recorded in Vol 41 Page 519 of Cambria County marriage records. They were married by Rev. Nicholas Szabados at the Greek Catholic Church in Johnstown. Both were apparently illiterate at the time, signing the license application with their "mark".

3. Zsófia "Sophie" POPOVICS was born on 4 April 1892 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.³ She was baptized on April 5. Her godparents were János Zemunevszky and his wife Anna Grajczár. She died on 25 September 1956 at the age of 64 in Johnstown, PA. According to the 1930 US Census, she was age 38, had been married since age 19, and came to the US in 1907 from Czechoslovakia.

Children were:

	i.	Michael DUTKO was born on 28 August 1912 in Johnstown, PA. He died on 29 March 1979 at the age of 66 in Johnstown, PA.
1	ii.	Mary DUTKO.
	iii.	John DUTKO was born in 1916 in Johnstown, PA. He died in 1945 at the age of 29. He was sickly and frequently hospitalized, and died in 1945 of cancer. He was never married.
	iv.	Nicolas "Mickey" DUTKO was born on 28 December 1918 in Johnstown, PA. He died in April 1982 at the age of 63 in Johnstown, PA.4 Social Security # 196-07-7577.
	v.	George DUTKO was born on 3 November 1921 in Johnstown, PA. He died on 19 January 1994 at the age of 72 in Chesterton, IN.4 SS # 176-14-6968 He was a manager at the US Steel works in Gary.
	vi.	Florence "Flo" DUTKO was born on 28 June 1926 in Johnstown, PA. She died on 9 August 1995 at the age of 69 in Johnstown, PA.
