16. János BERECZ was born on 7 January 1761 in Alsóság, Vas m, HUN.⁹⁶ He died on 27 September 1828 at the age of 67 in Alsóság, Vas m, HUN.⁹⁷ His age at death was given as 78, and he was identified as a farm owner. Cause of death was a paralytic stroke. The age at death given does not correspond to the 1761 birth we have for him by a wide margin. But, Lajos Zsámboki (a very competent genealogist who had access to the original records early in the 20th century) believed these were the correct birth and death dates for his great-great-grandfather. Therefore, we assume here that the recorded age at death was in error. He was buried on September 29 by István Hraborszky, the evangelical bishop of the region. Julianna NAGY and János BERECZ were married on 6 February 1785.⁹⁸ The date of the marriage is not visible due to the damage on the register page. The last legible date was 06 Feb, so this wedding was probably on that date or a few days later. The groom is identified as the 25 year-old son of István Börötz of Ság; the bride as the 17 year-old daughter of István Nagy of Alsömesteri. János Somogyi witnessed the marriage. According to the records we've found, the couples' ages were actually 24 and 18.

17. Julianna NAGY was born on 18 December 1766 in Alsómesteri, Vas m, HUN.⁹⁹ She died on 3 September 1808 at the age of 41 in Alsóság, Vas m, HUN.¹⁰⁰ She "died suddenly."
