10. Abraham BRANT was born on 11 September 1839 in Stony Creek Township, Somerset Co, PA. He died on 16 May 1909 at the age of 69 in Stony Creek Township, Somerset Co, PA. He and his wife are buried in the Walker Cemetery in Shanksville. Catherine "Kate" SPANGLER and Abraham BRANT were married in 1864. According to the 1900 census, this couple were married 36 years and had five children, four of whom were still living.

11. Catherine "Kate" SPANGLER was born on 5 December 1839 in Pennsylvania. She died on 19 February 1929 at the age of 89 in Johnstown, PA.

Children were:

	i.	Irvin Franklin BRANT was born in March 1865 in Pennsylvania. He died in 1929 at the age of 64. According to the 1900 census, he was married to a woman named Dora (age 20) and they had a 12 year-old daughter. He, like his father, was employed as a carpenter.
5	ii.	Ella BRANT.
	iii.	Carrie E. BRANT was born in 1869 in Pennsylvania.
	iv.	Anna BRANT was born in 1871 in Pennsylvania.
	v.	John BRANT was born in 1873 in Pennsylvania.
