Eighth Generation192. Michael WACKER32 was born on 20 February 1701 in Wiel im Schonbuch, Württemberg, GER. He died on 17 September 1773 at the age of 72 in Leitersburg, Fredrick Co, MD. He was a soldier in Austria, and upon his discharge married. In 1749, he emigrated to Philadelphia on the ship Edinburg with his wife Barbara and his daughter Maria Barbara and sons Georg and Jakab Andreas. He settled on the tract of land in Frederick County, Maryland known as Work Easy (which was noted in the Mason-Dixon survey of 1765). He may have returned to Germany following the French and Indian War. In 1773, his son Jacob sold the family farm in Maryland and relocated to Brothers Valley, PA. Maria Barbara CARLE and Michael WACKER were married on 11 November 1745 in Wiel im Schonbuch, Württemberg, GER. 193. Maria Barbara CARLE was born (date unknown). Children were:
