18. George BALTZER was born on 26 February 1808 in Steinbach, Hesse, GER. According to his tombstone, he lived 68 yrs, 3 mos, and 21 days. He died on 17 June 1876 at the age of 68 in Shanksville, PA. He was a tailor who came to the US in 1821 and first settled in Berlin, PA. In 1833 he moved to Shanksville. Anna Maria "Mary" RAYMAN and George BALTZER were married about 1835. There were 10 children of this marriage.

Anna Maria "Mary" RAYMAN was born on 9 March 1819 in Stony Creek Township, Somerset Co, PA. She died on 13 September 1900 at the age of 81 in Shanksville, PA. After she was widowed, she lived with her youngest child, son Sylvester who was 17 at the time of the 1880 census. Later, until her death, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Abraham and Catharine Wilson.

vi. | Aquilla BALTZER was born in June 1858 in Pennsylvania. She died on 16 December 1947 at the age of 89 in Shanksville, PA. After the death of her husband, she lived with her son Oscar in Shanksville. |
