8. Jacob ROTERMUND was born on 7 June 1750 in Kleinmoor bei Lilienthal, Hannover, GER.²⁴ Kleinmoor is just north of Lilienthal at the edge of the Teufelsmoor. He died on 14 January 1829 at the age of 78 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.²⁵ He was buried on Jan 19. Death register says he was 78 years, 7 months, and 7 days old at his death. Gretje GEFKIN and Jacob ROTERMUND were married on 25 April 1783 in Lilienthal, Hannover, GER.²⁶

9. Gretje GEFKIN was born on 23 October 1760 in Heidberg, Hannover, GER.²⁷ She was baptized on Oct 25. Heidberg is between Grasberg and Lilienthal on the western edge of the Teufelsmoor. She died on 24 February 1818 at the age of 57 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.²⁸ According to the death register, she was 57 years, 1 month, and 1 day old at her death. She was buried in Grasberg on 28 Feb 1818.

Children were:

	i.	Johann Hinrich ROTERMUND was born on 8 July 1785 in Lilienthal, Hannover, GER.²⁹ He died on 27 July 1854 at the age of 69 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³⁰ He was a farmer on the moor in Eikedorf; presumably taking over his parents farm.
	ii.	Cathrine Margrethe ROTERMUND was born on 21 March 1788 in Lilienthal, Hannover, GER.²⁶
4	iii.	Jacob ROTERMUND.
	iv.	Hinrich Hermann ROTERMUND was born on 15 January 1794 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³¹ He was baptized on Jan 19.
	v.	Conrad ROTERMUND was born on 29 January 1797 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³² He was baptized on Feb 1. He died on 19 June 1817 at the age of 20 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³³
	vi.	Gesche Ahlheid ROTERMUND was born on 12 November 1800 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³⁴ Baptized on November 16. She died on 5 August 1819 at the age of 18 in Eickedorf bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.³⁵ She was buried on August 8 in Grasberg.
