Seventh Generation94. London SMITH was born (date unknown). We find a reference to a London Smith in the 1870 census of Nash County. He was a 25 year-old "black" farm laborer living with a "mulatto" Smith family, and their neighbors were fairly wealthy "white" farmers named Smith. It is likely that all the people of color were former slaves of the white Smith's. 95. Eliza [SMITH] was born (date unknown). Children were:
