122. Mihály SZEREMLEI SZABÓ was born in 1709. He died on 2 November 1789 at the age of 80 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.¹⁹³ He died at age 80. The Szeremlei Szabó family seems to have lived in Szekszárd at least from early in the 18th century, and were variously called Szeremlei, Szabó, or the combined name -- meaning the Szabo's from Szeremle. This was probably to distinguish them from the several other Szabó families in town. It's possible they came in recent generations from Szeremle to Szekszárd. The village of Szeremle is in the floodplane of the Danube -- where four counties meet and the county boundaries often changed.

While there is no certainty that Judit and István are siblings, but that seems very likely from the many family connections that occur over the years. That this couple were their parents is conjectural.

It is also conjectural that Ilona and Zsuzsanna were daughters of this Mihály Szeremlei Szabó. The only record we have of them -- their marriage records -- only gives their name as Szabó/ But, if Mihály was their father, their mother was almost certainly an unidentified previous wife.

Zsuzsanna SIMON and Mihály SZEREMLEI SZABÓ were married about 1730.

123. Zsuzsanna SIMON was born in 1712. She died on 14 February 1789 at the age of 77 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.¹⁹¹ She died at age 77 and was identified as the wife of Mihály Szemerlei Szabo.
