62. György SÖRÖS was born on 22 March 1718 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.173 He died on 26 March 1805 at the age of 87 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.172 He died at age 86 of a stroke. Sára MÁCZIK and György SÖRÖS were married about 1747. 63. Sára MÁCZIK was born about 1731. Children were: | i. | János SERES was born on 28 October 1748 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.174 The baptismal record shows the father's given name as "Joannes" but with the mother's name given this is obviously an error which is explainable since this was not a family known regularly to the priest. He died before 1759 at the age of 11. | | ii. | Erzsébet SERES was born on 10 May 1750 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.175 Associating this baptism with this woman raises some questions. Her age at death would give her birthdate as 1747. But, her true age may have been hidden since she married so young. She died on 2 October 1815 at the age of 65 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.176 She died at age 68 and was identified as the widow of István Szeremlei Szabo. | | iii. | Anna SERES was born on 2 February 1753 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.177 She is the first of the Sörös/Máczik children whose godparents were Ferenc Csetenyi and Judit Tolnai. She died before 1754 at the age of 1. | | iv. | Anna SERES was born on 19 March 1754 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.178 She died on 17 November 1815 at the age of 61 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.176 She died at age 65 and was identified as the wife of the older József Kováts. With the baptismal pages being misplaced, and a four-year discrepancy in the age at death, it is possibly an error to associate this baptism with the wife of Jósef Kováts. But, all else seems logical. | | v. | György SERES was born on 28 November 1756 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.179 He died before 1764 at the age of 8. | | vi. | János SERES was born on 16 February 1759 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.180 His godmother was Judit Tolnai. | | vii. | István SERES was born on 21 June 1761 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.181 He died on 7 April 1806 at the age of 44 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.182 He died at age 46. | | viii. | György SERES was born on 3 January 1764 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.183 | | ix. | Ilona SERES was born on 19 March 1766 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.184 | | x. | Katalin SERES was born on 15 September 1768 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.185 She died on 26 January 1836 at the age of 67 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.186 She died at age 69 and was buried on January 27. | | xi. | Sára SERES was born on 15 June 1770 in Szekszárd, Tolna m, HUN.187 She died before 1775 at the age of 5. | 31 | xii. | Sára SERES. |
