8. István NEMES^63,64 was born on 14 September 1774 in Mór, Fejér m, HUN.⁶⁵ The child's parents were identified as Calvinists. Godparents were Mihaly Odor and his wife, Roman Catholics.
In the marriage record of our István Nemes (born c1799) it states he was born in Mór and was an "ifj" ... in English "Jr." Therefore we believe this man, István Nemes (born 1774) whose Roman Catholic baptismal record identifies his parents as Calvinists, is very likely (but not provably) his father. Using this assumption, the earlier generations of ancestors come from the Mór RC registers.
