20. Jakob SZALÁNCZY was born on 18 July 1769 in Pavlyán (Pavlány), Szepes m, HUN.¹¹⁰ There is no direct evidence, other than the appropriate name and age, that this is the Jakob Szalánczy who died in 1832. He died on 21 April 1832 at the age of 62 in Pavlyán (Pavlány), Szepes m, HUN.¹¹¹ He died at age 63. Katalin HOCZKICZKO and Jakob SZALÁNCZY were married about 1795. The record of this marriage could not be found in the area churches.

21. Katalin HOCZKICZKO was born about 1776. No baptismal record could be found in the local church registers. She is likely a child of the indicated parents, since for Mike Dutka and Sophie Salanci to be 2nd cousins, she must be a sibling of János Hoczkiczko. She died on 5 September 1831 at the age of 55 in Pavlyán (Pavlány), Szepes m, HUN.¹¹² She died at age 55 during the cholera epidemic of 1831. Her identification is problematical. In the best record of her maiden name, the baptismal record of her son János, the spelling would seem to be Hoznizko, not one of the normal variations on the spelling of this name.
