14. András SZAKMÁR was born in 1804 in Nagyolsva (Olsavica), Szepes m, HUN. He died on 12 April 1853 at the age of 49 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.79 This entry is in Russian. He died at age 49 and was living in house #116. Márta MINDYÁS and András SZAKMÁR were married on 18 November 1822 in Nagyolsva (Olsavica), Szepes m, HUN.80 The marriage record indicates this was the first marriage for each and both were Greek Catholics from Olsavica. 15. Márta MINDYÁS was born on 11 August 1806 in Nagyolsva (Olsavica), Szepes m, HUN.81 Godparents were Basil Demo[osko] and his wife Anna. She died on 15 December 1850 at the age of 44 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.82 This entry is in Russian. It gives her age at death as 44 and identifies her as the wife of András Szakmár. Children were: | i. | Mária SZAKMÁR was born on 2 September 1825 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.83 | | ii. | Ersébet SZAKMÁR was born on 3 September 1827 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.84 In the baptismal register, her father was identified as a "molitor" -- miller -- and there is an indication she died young. She died about 1831 at the age of 4. She obviously died before 1836, but there is no record of her death in the church registers. Possibly she died in the cholera epidemic of September 1831, during which period it is likely many deaths were not recorded. | | iii. | János SZAKMÁR was born on 17 May 1829 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.85 He died on 31 March 1842 at the age of 12 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.86 He died at age 13. | | iv. | Márta SZAKMÁR was born on 6 January 1832 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.87 | | v. | Anna SZAKMÁR was born on 13 April 1834 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.88 The baptismal register identifies the mother as being from Olsavica. | | vi. | Ersébet SZAKMÁR was born on 11 July 1836 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.89 | | vii. | Katalin SZAKMÁR was born on 7 March 1840 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.90 She was a twin. She died in 1840 at the age of 0. She was a twin who almost certainly died shortly after birth. In 1840, the local priest did not record the deaths/burials of infants, and therefore her death record does not exist in the Alsórepás Greek Catholic church registers. | | viii. | Juliana SZAKMÁR was born on 7 March 1840 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.90 She was a twin. She died on 3 March 1841 at the age of 0 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.91 | | ix. | János SZAKMÁR was born on 24 January 1843 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.92 This may have been his baptismal date, with his birth having taken place in the previous year. The baptismal record contains a note: "8bis die 20 Nov lit. N. xxx" which may refer to the birth. | | x. | Péter SZAKMÁR was born on 27 June 1845 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.93 He died on 26 November 1846 at the age of 1 in Alsórepás (Nizné Repase), Szepes m, HUN.94 His age at death is given as 2 years. The year of his death is indeterminate because the year-date of the death records for 1844-46 were later erased and altered.
