270. Col. Nicholas GREENBERRY was born about 1627 in England. He died on 17 December 1697 at the age of 70 in Maryland. He emigrated to Maryland in 1674 with his wife and two oldest children, Charles and Catharine. Daughters Anne and Elizabeth were born in Maryland.

He was authorized to build three forts for protection against the Indians. Later he was President of the Council and Acting Governor of Maryland. Anne [GREENBERRY] and Col. Nicholas GREENBERRY were married about 1665 in England.

271. Anne [GREENBERRY] died in 1698 in Maryland.
