48. Johann Jost WIECHMANN was born on 4 February 1703 in Lohe bei Nienburg, Hannover, GER.¹⁰⁸ He died on 31 August 1773 at the age of 70 in Lohe bei Nienburg, Hannover, GER.¹⁰⁹ His age at death was given as 72 years and his parents were identified as Johan Wichmann and Hille Anna Helmken. The name "Jost" is sometimes spelled Joost or Jobst. Gese Margarethe SCHOLINGS and Johann Jost WIECHMANN were married on 13 July 1736 in Lohe bei Nienburg, Hannover, GER.¹¹⁰ There were many children of this marriage. Due to time constraints, we did not attempt to locate siblings of this couple or of subsequent generations in the Marklohe baptismal registers. We checked, and no earlier Wiechmann or Scholings marriages are available in the marriage registers of the Marklohe church.

49. Gese Margarethe SCHOLINGS was born on 7 March 1713 in Mielbergen bei Lohe, Hannover, GER.¹¹¹ In the baptismal record, the father's name is illegible. Mielbergen -- we were told -- is a nearby village which always used the church in Lohe. We were unable to locate it on a map. She died on 7 February 1781 at the age of 67 in Lohe bei Nienburg, Hannover, GER.¹¹² The death record gives her age as 68 years and her parents as Johann Hinrich Scholings and Anna Adelheit Tönges.
