30. Hinrich MAHNKEN was born on 26 November 1758 in Tarmstedt bei Wilstedt, Hannover, GER.⁸⁸ He was baptized on November 28. He died on 26 March 1820 at the age of 61 in Schmalenbeck bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.⁸⁹ He was buried in Grasberg on Mar 29. He was a farmer at Schmalenbeck #12. Geshe FICKEN and Hinrich MAHNKEN were married on 12 December 1781 in Wilstedt, Hannover, GER.^90,91

31. Geshe FICKEN was born on 22 November 1757 in Büchholz bei Wilstedt, Hannover, GER.⁹² There is a problem identifying the father of Geshe Ficken. In her marriage record, her father is given as Jürgen Ficken. Based on her age at death, the only possible baptism associated with her identifies Peter Ficken as the father (this is the conclusion of both Stelljes, and our examination of the records). Peter and Jürgen were brothers, the sons of Jürgen, Sr. We were unable to find either of their marriages in Wilstedt, so the identification of the mother is no help. For the present, we are assuming that Peter is the father. In any case, the paternal grandparents are the same. She died on 25 November 1829 at the age of 72 in Schmalenbeck bei Grasberg, Hannover, GER.⁹³ She was 72 years and 33 days old at the time of her death. She was buried in Grasberg on Nov 28.
