24. János POPOVICS was born on 30 December 1781 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹²⁶ He died on 28 February 1838 at the age of 56 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹²⁷ He was identified as a 56 year-old Greek Catholic peasant from Podproc, where he was buried. Mária KORCHNYAK and János POPOVICS were married on 20 November 1808 in Nagyolsva (Olsavica), Szepes m, HUN.¹²⁸ In the marriage record, the bride's name was spelled Korchnyekova -- with the Slavic feminine ending.

25. Mária KORCHNYAK was born about 1785. She died before 1840 at the age of 55. I am unsure of the spelling of this family name ... Xor?nyák.

	i.	János POPOVICS was born about 1809 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.
	ii.	Anna POPOVICS was born on 28 May 1811 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹²⁹ Godparents were György Dutka and his wife Mária Komara. She died on 5 May 1817 at the age of 5 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹³⁰
12	iii.	György POPOVICS.
	iv.	Anna POPOVICS was born on 1 August 1817 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹³¹ Godparents were György Dutka and his wife Mária Komara. She had two illegitimate sons and was identified as "the peasant serving girl of Podproc."
	v.	Mihály POPOVICS was born on 1 November 1819 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹³² Godparents were György Dutka and Mária Komara. He died on 14 February 1888 at the age of 68 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹³³ He lived at Podproc #17 and died at age 69.
	vi.	Ersébet POPOVICS was born on 4 April 1826 in Lazonpatak (Podproc), Szepes m, HUN.¹³⁴ Godparents were György Dutka and his wife Ersébet.
